As a full-time commercial and editorial photographer, my background is in both the advertising and editorial sides of publishing. This experience influences my current work with clients that include top brands needing strong images for their promotional efforts, and for the publications I still work with on the editorial side.
I specialize in architectural- and lifestyle photography, which might seem like an odd pairing of two very different genres of photography. But as a creative professional I find that switching gears between these two genres keeps things interesting and fresh for me, which is crucial for anyone engaging in creative work full-time. The common thread that ties these two genres is simple, though: showing off what my clients do to their audiences. I do this for leading designers, builders, brands, agencies, and publications, producing images that communicate the expertise and passion of my clients.
My commercial client list includes respected groups like STAINMASTER Flooring, Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops, Piedmont Healthcare, Vexus Boats, t-Olive Properties, Reynolds Lake Oconee, the Empire South family of brands, Carroll Daniel Commercial Construction, and the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation. I am also on the Pro Photography Team of R.L. Winston Fly Rods. My work has appeared in a long list of quality publications, such as Southern Living, Gray's Sporting Journal, Country Living, Atlanta Magazine, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Sporting Classics, HOME, The Flyfish Journal, and many more.
I have authored one book, Fly Fishing Georgia: A No Nonsense Guide to Top Waters (2010), which is available at fly shops and fine bookstores around the South, Barnes & Noble stores in Georgia, Bass Pro Shops, and through a variety of online retailers. The second edition of this book is due for release in 2019.
I have been married since 2006 to Stephanie, who was recently named one of America's 100 Most Creative People by Country Living. Together we have two beautiful daughters and live in Monroe, Georgia.
